The Standard Hotel on the High Line

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010

The New York Standard opened in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District in 2009. It is noted for its modernist design reminiscent of Le Corbusier and for its span across the High Line, an elevated railroad track on Manhattan’s West Side. Last Update: 2/15/2024

Discovering New York is a compilation of work that has been collected electronically and on paper for many years and has been hosted on several websites and wikis before it came here, and we think has now found a permanent home here at http://greggstull.org

Check out the Pages Tab at the bottom left hand side of the header for a listing of headings that will lead you anywhere from the best places to eat in New York City to the best places to shop, to little known places of interest that even the natives to New York City are not aware of.

Please leave your comments for new places that you think we may like to add to the blog.
